t 5 transmission and stock z bar? whats a z bar? and i had a 170 ci on the tree so i have the cultch pedal. what im trying to ask if if i can se the set up i have now foor a 5 speed. i dont whant to use the tree . i want it to be on the floor and whats a good price for a 5 speed in GA?

Z-bar is slang for equalizer bar, you will need an adapter between the trans to bell housing. This adapter will take up the 5/8" difference between the longer input shaft on the 5-speed transmission...assuming you're using a 170-200 6 cylinder. $70 will get you a 5-speed at Pull-a-Part
