My son Turns 17 This Saturday Boss 302 is almost done Stroked and Bored to 347 Zero decked but the Heads arnt done yet I havea set of Aluminum Rousch Heads and Intake, But waiting on Head Gaskets the next problem is will a Top Loader 4 Speed go right in and Is a 9 inch out of a 66 mustang the same width need Help dont have time to fab much more up and measure Still building Dash Gausges and Have To install seats and Radio. Any help would Be appreciated gonna have to run the 73 front bumper for now and loan him my wifes torque thrusts but Im Pretty sure we will make the deadline. Need my hours in a day.
I believe the Mustang rear will be a little too wide, but you can compensate for that with the backspacing of the wheels. I have an early Mustang 9" on mine. Sticks out just a little but it's a race only car.
I'll measure it tomarrow it's just got a locker and 411 gears with disc brakes and be easier to swap out then build anothet
