So I pick my car up from the alignment shop last week and drove it home. It ran great. Wanted to move it went to start it. it fired right up like always then died tried again didn't want to stay running. Had to give a lil gas then noticed a bunch of smoke. I shut it down and went to the back of the car and noticed there was a large amount of black smoke coming from the passengers side pipe only. It dumped out for a while with the car off. So after I was freakin out I started lookin at fluids and I believe I'm smelling gas on my dipstick. Everything I'm reading on the Internet is saying its most likely a bad piston ring. Dose anyone know some info on this. It's a 351w bored 0.030 with cam,heads,intake,750 edelbrock 11:1 comp. with about 300 miles on it. Thank u

If I just flooded it would there only be smoke out of one side. Before I started it I was putting on a double return spring for my carb and stepped down on the gas a couple times to see how stiff the pedal was gonna be

I have a electrical fuel pump. I don't know if that matters

Atleast by the time I made it to the back of the car it was the one side. And a lot of smoke was coming out for a while
