Its tight but it fits

    BOSS 302 Fits but its tight test fit went well now on with the project

    You going to try and squeeze in headers or manifolds? Wouldnt it be easier and cheaper in the long run to get some aftermarket 302 heads and off the shelf headers? Well it might be but wont look as cool and have the same WOW factor.

    It was a tight fit in the Mustang too! Never had the pleasure of owning one, but looked at a few at the car shows! (y)

    That is AWSOME! Is it a real Boss? I've been dreaming of doing a bogus Boss for some time now and that is still my goal in the end. That is alot of WOW factor you have there.:thumbs2:

    I saw something in there, but not hooked up so didnt know if it was going to fit. what header is it? try the other side, might be tighter with the steering box.

    I found the article on the Boss 302 in the 70 Maverick and I'll try and scan some pictures later this week. They used stock exhaust manifolds with Trans-Dapt motor mount adapters. The only thing they had to slightly modify was the clutch linkage for the top loader 4spd.

    It's a real boss 1969, using it as a mock up have on my kids car before build it wanted tO make sure it would fit.

    Actually plugs are easier then a windsor head and most newer cars as for a few of the header bolts that's a diffenttly story besides after I get it done Maintence is on the kid
