Can anyone tell me the appropriate gapping distance for a '72 Maverick Grabber? It's not in the manual, and the hood is a fiberglass replacement, so I don't have the original labels. I appreciate the help!

    Thanks,
    Kelly

It will be the same for a 72 and the type of engine. Being a Grabber would not change the spec.

I should have said engine type, which is a 302, but since I have an aftermarket hood, it doesn't have the info label that should tell me the gapping distance. So once again, if anyone can tell me the gapping distance, it would be appreciated.

Thanks Maverick1970! Yes, it's stock, other than the intake and carb. I'll give that a try. My dad taught me bodywork, not engines, but I'm sure I can at least change my spark plugs.
