So I found a set of muffler thatI really like but now Im trying to figure out how I would like my exhaust to be routed, exit out in front of the rear tires or dumped before the axle(no turndowns), those are my two choices. Im leaning more towards the side exit method but I dont want to go deaf from the sound of the exhaust. If I stop it at the axle I would put sound proofing material on the rear section of the floor, inner quarter panels and in the trunk in order to cancel out the snare drum affect.

*the mufflers im lookin at are the cherry bomb extreme mufflers i plan on having a 2.5 inch exhaust ran w/o a crossover pipe.

You'll find it a lot easier to live with if you route it out from underneath the car, but if you do dump it at the axle, you'll be much happier with turndowns than without. I've run just about any configuration you can think of on one vehicle or another.

Bottom line: If you don't want the "drone"....you will need to run over the axle pipes.

You will thank me later. Just don't make me come on here and say "I told you so". :D

I had mine come out in front of the tires and I scraped all the time. Had to change to the dump downs

I went from turn downs to exit in front of the tire and there is a drastic difference. The drone is gone and the fumes are away from the car.
