Rear Seat: 2 door 4 door interchange?

    I think I already know this but want to throw this one out there? The rear seat on a 4 door, would it interchange to a 2 door? My buddy found a nice rear seat from a tan interior 73 LDO Maverick 4 door & wants the rear seat for his 74 2 door Mav. The seat part(where you sit)looks like different countours to me, I don't think it will fit-the back part looks close though.

    Seat back is the same, the bottom is wider in a 4 door so it won't fit without some surgery....

    Just picked up the seat back from that 73 LDO Comet. Yes, the seat back is identical in measurements & fits fine. Now I just need to find the back seat part you sit on for a 2door Tan LDO car.
