haha my buddies Chinese 44 trim went out in 1K miles of street use It was actually advertised as a 50 Trim. But they never measure them right. If you just drive it in the 1/4 mile It could fail sooner. Of course there's also people who have run these for a hundred thousand miles with no issues. But with something as important as that why would you even take the risk? The compressor fins are known to break, imagine that on a non-intercooled carburetor engine. It could end up costing you your engine
Got a buddy that bought one of these ebay kits from a friend who had bought it from Ebay. In total, the kit has been in service for about three years at 8PSI.
