Well, the Fairfax EVOOA meet wasn't as well attended by as many cars as we'd hoped, but we all know how that goes. It was a blast nonetheless. The Mav was warmly received and surprisingly won three awards! We were also asked to join the Historic Police Car Honor Guard which is another vintage police car organization. They have a strong presence at Washington DC during Police Week every May and the fallen officer's memorial ceremonies. The highlight of the weekend events on Saturday was a cruise to Barrack 'U' of the Maryland State Police for a community festival and open house. We were escorted by the State Police with all the vintage police cars flashing and wailing the whole way from our meeting place to the town square. What a sight we must have been! Next stop, Georgetown, Delaware November 3rd for the "Return Day" celebration and the vintage police car segment of the parade.
I bet that Was fun!! Really would have been fun to see! Congrats on the awards! The car deserves something, cause it's just too cool. Congrats! Preston
