re-arching leaf springs

    so i am going to re-arch the leaf springs on my car some time in the near future. so i want to kmow what the distance is between the two eyes on a set of brand new springs so i can determine how much more arch i need to put in my springs

    ok thanks i'll pm him. i plan on doing it myself with a hydraulic press at work. from what little info i can find online you just take it easy and go along the spring every 3 to 4 inches building pressure on it making a few passes until you get the desired arch. the press i will be using has a pressure gauge so i will be able to keep it very consistant.
