I just purchased a pristine Mav that is missing the the front grille emblem, any ideas where to locate one....ebay seems to be the only place and I do not want to deal with Pay Pal ever again.

As you said, Ebay. Always 1 or 2 it seems and lots of times they are NOS. Otherwise, I'm sure somebody here will have one, either new or used. Just place a "wanted" ad in the classified forum and you will get one.

I had a 76 Mercury Comet some 18 years ago, when I lived in Montreal that I purchased from an 80 yo women, as my winter beater. I had at that time a 93 5.0 coupe, not very good in winters in eastern Canada. All to say that it was a 6 with no rust and 42K on the odometer, I paid 500 bucks for it then. Drove link a tank inthe winter, if only times were different as both cars were out of my life by 97.
