    Hey Everyone,

    My name is Frank. I just recently purchased a 1971 Ford Maverick. It is a rolling project. My first car I ever bought was a 1972 Ford LTD. I wish I still had it. I paid $2,500 with only 45,000 miles on the original engine. The car was in perfect condition.

    Now I am going to be working on this car non-stop until it is just as nice as that LTD. I will be hitting up the other sections of the forums to ask questions and meet some new people.

    I'll get some pictures of my '71 Maverick soon and post them. My coworker was moving out of the state and needed to sell it. I picked it up for $500. I can't wait to start getting some parts for it. The interior is thrashed... but nothing that can't be fixed up in a weekend.

    Welcome to this forum Lunchboxjr! I had a 73 LTD, ordered it new "my 3rd. car" - 2nd. new car "06/15/1973".... As I recall, I paid a little more than 2.5K but it was sure enough a great cruiser "had all pwr options". I believe I still have the papers on it.
    Anyway, the best w/ ur project...
