Looking at the interchange thread, I see the front upper control arms for 68-73 Mustangs seem to be the same for 70-77 Mavericks:

Looking at this internet article, I see a complete 68-73 Mustang front suspension rebuild kit being put on a 1971 Maverick, with (apparently) all parts used right out of the box:

    http://www.fordmuscle.com/2011/08/1971-ford-maverick-suspension-rebuild/

I ran the kit number provided in the article on the Laurel Mountain Mustang website and came up with these kits:

Can I use these complete rebuild kits on my 75 w/ disc brakes?

Yes.......but some of those kits are made up of cheap quality parts, for the strut rods, do not use anything other than rubber bushings.

Right away I can tell you that 1968-69 outer tie rod ends are a smaller size than 1970 and newer on a Mustang (all other mid-sized Ford products).

Idler arms are manual or power steering specific too. I also believe that they changed every couple of years with steering drag link changes.

Outer tie rods on disc cars are unique also.

Suspension is swappable, but steering is a whole nother story.

Oh yeah I emailed them a long time ago asking them about the suspension, let me go look for the email.

So apart from the steering components - which I can get elsewhere - will this work for my 75?

    http://www.laurelmountainmustang.com/products/1965-66-master-front-suspension-kit

Laurel Mountain says the can't say for sure if the lowers will work from the interchange manuals they have...???

They say they have two numbers, one has 1-7/16" DIA bushings, the other has 1-9/16" DIA bushings. Laurel Mountain has the 1-7/16" bushing control arms and says the difference could affect the alignment with the cam washers (maybe???)

Everything else appears to be correct according to some quick measurements and visual checks.

Unless anyone has an objection, I'm going to order it.

Edit: ordered - so I'll let you know...

If I were to purchase this. What else would I need for the front suspension?

I didnt see any upper arms or spring perches in that kit. you might want to get new springs also.:)
Then take it to a shop and get it checked for alignment.
