I have one of these pumps on my car http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=976471 would i need a fuel pressure regulator with this pump? i bought it as a factory replacement from a 78 fairmont (thats how it was listed but actually its universal). its not a hipo pump so i would think not.

To answer your question you must know the rate of flow and PSI to be sure. But I dont think a Fairmont(if thats is the aplication for this pump) would need a Reg.IMHO:)

If it worked on the Fairmont then I would say no to the regulator.

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
I would run one anyways. Carb or EFI.

Too much PSI in a carb can be a scary situation. Been there before.
