I'm just posting this to get an idea of how many people would like a set of custom Dan Starnes subframe connectors. If anyone's interested, leave a post saying how many sets you want. Of course it's up to Dan whether or not he wants to make them, but I hope for our sake he does! I'm guessing there are at least ten people on this board who would like a set of these subframe connectors, and mark me down as one of them.
I want subs. I don't know that those are next on my 'to do' list though. Are there any pics or other info? Dave
I can stop this right here,, I cannot make any. I am working 55-60 hours a week and simply cannot put any time towards making them and shipping them. I suggest contacting Rudy Bidlack,, he is an MCCI member and advertises his in every issue of Shorthorns. Rudy's email is rpbidlack@juno.com Thanks anyways everyone, I really wish I could make a run of them, but I wont commit to something I am uncertain of accomplishing, hope you understand. Thanks Dan
I have a brand new set of Dan's connectors that I am probably not going to use ... I can sell them for $130 shipped via UPS Ground ... PayPal only ... the first reply in this thread who can pay via PayPal gets them. Here are some pics thanks to Hawco ... http://hawkco.com/maverick/page 4.htm
Hey Guys, I can make some if there is some interest. Tubular, just like the ones that Dan made. I have my own tubing bender, so renting time is not a problem. I can make them as needed. Let me know... I will be leaving for Charlotte NC tomorrow afternoon (Thursday), but I could get some tubing and have some made when I get back. I will be returning on Sunday evening. I had toyed with the idea before, I just didn't want to horn in on Dan's project...but if he doesn't have the time to devote to them anymore, I'd be more than happy to start bending them up. I also thought about trying to make a bolt-on set, so there wouldn't be any welding, but I haven't taken any measurements or mocked any up as of yet. I could get on the ball if there were any interest in those. Let me know, and we'll see what we can get worked out. Later,
