Not a lot to report. Saw a 1970 or 1971 2-door in the car corral for sale. 9000 actual miles. California car. Kind of a shabby repaint....$7995 The best car in the car corral was a 1976 Elite with 10,000 actual miles. Baby blue inside and out, and absolutely MINT. Needed nothing!!! $8500 Saw a NOS front fender and an NOS Comet hood. $300 each or $500 for the pair. Some other Maverick parts here and there. Raymond Stone from Kentucky was there with a booth. He had LOTS of Maverick parts for sale. I hung out in his booth and talked to Chris Moses for quite a while, as well as George (GEO on this board). I also talked to Wilbur Green and John (Purple Mav), as well as Dave Boyer. I also saw Jack Grice walking around. All the buildings were pretty much full this time, which was nice to see. Had some really good pizza for lunch!! A board member on here won $500 cash during the hourly drawings....nice bonus for him. I will let him identify himself if he wishes. Do it all again in the Spring.
I WAS THERE ON SATURDAY AND PICKED UP A FRONT AND REAR SMALL BUMPER FROM RAYMOND. GOT THE REAR ALREADY ON. ALSO PICKED UP A NICE GRILLE FROM ANOTHER VENDOR FOR $25 BUCKS. WAS REALLY HOPING FOR WINDSHIELD AND REAR WINDOW SEALS, THOUGHT I MIGHT ALSO FIND A FRONT VALANCE BUT NO LUCK THERE. ALL IN ALL HAD A GOOD TIME HANGING OUT WITH MY DAD AND SON.
I just got home....wooo what a long weekend! I had a killer hangover this morning.... I bought another main case for my T5, and that was about it....
