Commiehook emailed me about a probelm he is having woth his dash lights:

Well the radio light works and the gear indicator (?) light on the steering column works and the idiot lights work and the turn signal lights and bright indicator works but the gas gauge and instrument panel lights do not.

His mechanic thinks it is the printed circuit on the back of the instrument cluster. I guess I would think something else. Anybody have any thoughts?

Hey captainmac, I do plan on keeping the steelies but I am looking at some different caps. What do you guys think about either of these?
    Thanks,

The first caps are too old. Go with the second set.

Wow I really like #1, what year are they..They're like baby moons... not a Maverick but pretty cool looking. 60's covers? The #2's are Maverick caps ... but bo-ring... lol. They look so industrial and bone stock. YA gotta remember I'm in a Comet.. we have more ornate deco.. the Maverick and Comet wheel covers are flush and wont grind on a curb.. THe #1's look as though they would... ask me why I know :(
Mercury.. a step up from Ford but not quite a Lincoln :rofl2:
