Radiator for 75 Comet

    1975 Mercury Comet 5.0 V8 2bbl (4door)
    Just grabbed a 75 comet and wanted to buy an aluminum radiator with an electric fan. Ive been having some problems finding one so i was wondering if buying an aluminum radiator and installing a separate electric fan on the back was just as effective. Also, would installing either of the above eliminate the need for an engine fan?

    I and lots of others on here have the Champion radiator with Taurus fan. There are several options for fan controllers There are a couple of tech articles on the controllers. Do some searches and watch for posts by 71Gold. He's done two nice controller installs.

    Yes, you remove the mechanical fan.
