The Mustang Z bar is one piece and different from the Maverick.
    You can get after-market Z-bars.

The 6 cylinder Maverick pivot balls are the same as early V8 Mustang. Pivots for the Maverick V8 z-bar are much larger. I'm still using my 6 cylinder Maverick frame-side pivot with a 66 Mustang z-bar and lower rod.
