Hi Zorares! That's nice hear it! I live in the south of Brazil in Rio Grande do Sul. Don't worry about your portuguese . Well, there's not sooo much Mavericks in nice shape in Brazil, but the ones that are down in the road, the owners are doing a good job. About parts, that's interesting. Talking with Bob, (I bought his Monte Carlo bar) - the market in Brazil for classic cars isn't so good as in US. When I have to buy something for my car, I have to take some painkillers and pay a lot for importing from US, plus taxes and shipping (that's expensive, yeah...). When I go to US, I try to bring with me the most things I can, so it makes things easier. This time I bought one ACC carpet, the M/C bar and anti-sway bars from addco. Let's see if they will improve the handling! Let me know when you come to Brazil. I hope you stay nearby, so let's see some Mavericks!
Actually, I'll be in Brasil at the end of the month. I'm going straight from Sao Paulo to Lorena and I'll only be there for a couple of days. I need to chew out one of our suppliers so I doubt that I'll have much time to look for Mavericks. My wife's family is from Limeira and Campinas. I used to spend a lot of time in Recife but that supplier closed down. It is my theory that the Ford Mustang was never built in Brasil and so that is why the Mavericks are so much more nostalgic. Here, we Maverick lovers are the lepers in the Ford world but that's ok. I think it is changing though as Mavericks are so rare now.
