Dealing with a battery drain. Last night I found when I unplug the indicator light circuit from the voltage regulator the voltagedrain seems to go away. Other than poking around with a testlight, I have not done anyother testing. That is how I came to suspect the indicator curcuit had something to do with it,...because the testlight whent dim when connected at the voltage regulator. I have no idea what I'm doing. So wish me luck.

You have to test for draw with everything off. I'm guessing you didnt test the bulb circuit with key off?

Make sure everything is off. Close the doors. Disconnect the neg batt. terminal at battery. Connect a test light from the neg batt cable to the batt post. IF you get a bright light you have a draw.

Testlight must be the old/cheap type with a filament type light bulb. The LED style will light with very little draw. These cars dont have any key off electronics so your draw should not light a test light at all. Draw is pretty easy to find on these cars. Only a few electrical items on these cars plus whatever you have added to car. Tach,guages/stereo etc.
