started at 10am and went to 3pm.what a nice day in chicagoland.my wife and i both failed to think about sunblock especially with a show where the suns not going to set.we both got burnt.somebody must have stuck a horseshoe up my a$$.didnt win anything with the car but for a $1 raffle ticket i won a $25 gas card and guess what needed fuel on the way home.i've got to start bringing my camera.take some pics of some of the fords at the show for you guys.i keep waiting for someone with enough knowledge about our cars to notice the european nameplates.hope some of you guys had some nice shows in your collective neck of the woods.all the best bob tacket
Free Gas is good. Dang .....Sun Block in the "Windy City"? I grew up near there never had sun block. Global Warming I guess. Congrats on the free gas. When its not so hot down here. Every Friday night is a "Cruise In" on 4th Ave. Ill try to have my 73 done by "Midnight at the Oasis" this spring" Big show, great weather.
Thats rare for Chi Town aint it? I was back for my Sisters wedding in June 3 yrs ago, flew into O Hare, stepped outside to wait for the rental car shuttle and couldnt breath or bear the wieght of my clothes for the humidity. I dont miss that or the winters.
born and raised here.can very humid in the summer.just ask all the people who fall asleep on the beaches along LSD if they should have worn sunblock.the thing i like the most is we see all 4 seasons here
Loved cruisin LSD on friday eve back in the day. Gonna do again some day. 20 years ago I transfered to Prescott AZ to have 4 seasons transfered back after 10 years. I got aclimated to the heat I guess. Dont like shovelin snow or scrapin windows.
lucky, i miss living in chicago... i live in memphis now, and car shows, etc are few and far between..
