On the way back from the MO mini meet I stopped in to show my folks my new motor finally in the car. My uncle came over as I was about to leave and told me to 'see what I could do to spin the tires'... Here's the result, mostly in front of my folks' neighbors house, hope they didn't mind too much. :D

PS - hey dad, get out the tape measure will ya? ;)

You should have backed up, moved over about 5 foot, done it again and then taken the picture.

I've been trying hard to behave myself since I got the car going... it's been tough. :) I really want the posi but for the money, it can wait a while. I have plenty of traction for the street. :D

It is hard to hold back. Your like me just itching to see what the new engine will do. On a positive side looks like it goes straight when you get on it. BTW sorry I didn't get to spend more time around you guys in Springfield, I was with a group of friends. Next year we need to pick a time and get all the cars together on the back side of the fairgrounds for some pictures.

Hehe thats great. I used to get mine rolling backwards, slam it down in first and dump the clutch :D It was quite hilarious the smoke show it would put on. You just had to make sure nobody was watching on the "dead" side of the car so you wouldnt look too ignorant. :D Oh to be young and rough on parts....

You know what makes me really mad? To think that if I'd have worked harder I could have been laying those down at Muncie in July. :(
