Need help. My ac fan blower speed slowdown when I turn on my head lights on. Is this a ground problem or something else? How do I fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jerry

A weak battery or too small of amp output coming from the alternator will cause this. Start by cleaning all the battery connections and see if that helps

alterator has just been rebuilted but the regulator doesn't look that good. Could it be the regulator?

I'd suggest upgrading the head l;ight power. using relays. it will cause you to use a LOT less power through the light switch and make it available to the blower motor

A bad regelator will either over charge the battery or not charge it enough. Too low of idle will cause the fan speed to drop. Does the fan pickup speed when you rev the engine or does it stay about the same speed? How old is your battery?

when I accel. the fan speed goes up. This only happen with the headlights are turned on with ac on. The battery is about an year old. I might just need to get the battery check for peace of mind.

I'd check your alternator. Is the belt tight?
What else have you added to your car?
