    Ok. So here is what I've gathered of pushrod installation on a 302:
    1. Check the rods for straightness, defects and length.
    B. Slide them in place
    3. Torque rocker arm to 25-30 lbs
    D. Done?
    This seems too easy...

    Cause it is easy lol unless you have roller rocker..those are annoying

    Blow through them, make sure spit comes out the other end freely. they are merely a stiff metal straw that not only activates your rockers and valves, but also lubes them through the "straw".

    hahaha Roommate checked out the engine for me to buy. He's "supposed to be" the mechanic.. Hasn't been much help since he talked me into the engine tho lol. That's the way it goes I guess.

    I'll get it going. Thanks for all the help guys! :tiphat:
