    OK, so I finaly figured out why no parts stores carry an intake gasket for a 1973 250 I6, it only to me 3 days to figure it out.:rofl2: I guess I shoulda looked at the motor.:deadhorse

    Can I remove the head with the exhast manafold still bolted on?
    It seems to me that it would be easier to work on.:huh:

    Glad you figured that one out for the intake.LOL
    You can unbolt the exhaust pipe on the manifold than remove the head.

    Yeah I made the same mistake when I had my inline 6. I was asking for the wrong part. I too asked for the intake gasket instead of the head gasket. :idea::rofl2:
