    Hey everyone, I just joined and found this site to be the most knowledgeable about Mav's. I have a 1970 maverick that has the 4 on 4.5 bolt pattern but has a 302 hooked to the c-4. I have a 5.0L 302 that I was going to swap EFI for carburetor and intake and switch w/ the 302 in it that seems to be stuck (origional owner seems to have had the timing off because most of the push rods were bent?). It still has the stock wheels and tires YUCK! It needs some body work but still a solid old car. Sorry no pictures yet but will try to get some up.

    You are also in luck. The Maverick Comet Club International, Inc. (MCCI) will be holding their 18th Annual Roundup Nationals in Dearborn, Michigan next July 20-24. You will see lots and lots of Mavericks and Comets. You will have to plan and attend. More details can be found at www.MaverickCometClub.org

    Thanks for the welcome guys! The dearborn swap meet is next week, hopefully I can find some cool stuff. Craig, is the roundup at the same fairgrounds in dearborn?

    The Roundup Nationals are held on the host hotel grounds. Makes it very handy to get in out of the hot weather to some cool, comfortable Air Conditioning....and possible a dip in the pool!!!
