'70 Maverick front license plate bracket

    '73 Comet 302 LDO auto, '70 Maverick I6
    When I bought my '70 Maverick it did'nt have a bracket for the front plate. can someone post a picture of one. I mite be able to make something colse to it. Im using zip ties now. Thanks!

    Not sure if the 70 would be the same as a 71, but I found mine and i'm taking pics right now.

    wow! Thanks! Thats really helpfull. Now I've got some idea of how it bolts up with the facia. Mine dosnt have the rised section in the middle were the bracket bolts up? Its possible its not from a '70.

    funny thing about brains, sometimes ya use them sometimes ya dont. went out an took a look, and sure a nuff,... the facia (or however you spell that?)does have the stamped location for the bracket. Duh. View attachment 49822
