new member but not new to mavericks

    hi everyone, i am new here, but have owned several mavericks over the years. i am 53 and happily married with 2 kids and 5 grand kids. i have 2 maverick project cars right now. one is a 1977 the other a 1970. my son and i had started on the 1977, but moved to the 1970 that we bought a few months back. both will be 302 cars. getting the motor ready now to drop in the 1970. will post some pics when i can.:) i joined a while back and just looked around alot. but hope to post here often.

    here is my 70 when i first got it. i also got a lot of extra parts with it, like fenders, radiators, etc.

    thanks for the warm welcome everyone! over the years i have had 5 mavericks! my first car as a teen was a 71 maverick with a smaal 6 cyl. didn't take long before my dad and i switched it to a 302! my fav though was my 72 sprint. factory 302 3 speed on the floor. lost that one in about 1978 to a fire! almost have the 5.0 ready for the 70 now.put the 1977 on the back burner since i bought the 1970.
