Champion 3 row radiator.

    This thing wont even fit. Seems like I would have to shave some of the radiator support to get it to fit proplerly. Anyone else experiance this? This radiator is a work of art very nicely built. I would love for it to fit since they said it was made for this car. Sorry for all the posts I feel like a post wh0r3 now. Keep running into more issues as I get down the line.

    The rad will fit - I have one. U most likely will have to shave/make a sml hole in the area for the petcock/plug whichever u have and it shud bolt in.

    I thought I read the petcock issue was fixed on these? Champion cooling is about 10 miles from my house in Lake Elsinore and I eventually plan to get one.

    I had to cut out a spot for the petcock and make a brace to hold the rad to the rad support. But a nice looking unit when done.

    You could also just get rid of the petcock and drain through the bottom hose. Thats what I did.

    I massaged the brace with a 24oz. re-fit tool and mine just bolted right in

    Notched the cross member and put in a street elbow to point the drain down. Makes it easier to catch coolant when its drained.

    That's a great idea - never thought abt that. Nx time I have to drain the coolant for anything Im doin it. Just drained it last week to put in new set of gauges. My water temp gauge went south.

    LOL. Yeah I got it to fit. Just cut some off the frame where the drain bolt touched it. Fits perfect now. :dancing:

    I shaved the frame too. My rad support was all bent up so I had to hammer and shave some of that too.

    Got everything done except seperator plate and msd6al setup. Hopefully
