I put a stereo in my car with a sub an amp the whole deal. The belt squeals whenever i give it gas. It just like when the battery died and it was trying to charge it up. My question is should i upgrade to a higher amp alternator and if so how many amps should i get. I can get all the way up to 140 amps. I dont know if thatd be too much. Oh yea when the sub hits all the dash lights dim to the beats. the squealing is embarrasing and i want to fix it as well as the dimming problem. Thanks

You`r belt might be a little too loose but it sounds like you need a 100 amp alt. to me .
