The Stallion is back in Michigan incredibly, one of you guy's even saw it in transport! crazy... I have posted some pics on my website www.76Stallion.com as well as in my members gallery. The pics on CL were obviously old pics...lol The car is REALLY sun baked, but fairly solid. just took the interior out today (see pics), so anyone that can help with floorboard donations would be great, if not i am in the market for a rust free donor 2 door with a black interior prefered I am open to any and all suggestions, help, comments etc. the more the merrier...really, i need it and welcome it looking forward to hearing from you all -Mike Landon
There's a Stallion front hood trim piece on Ebay right now. Don't know if your looking for one or not. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1976...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19c362edb6 Looks like a decent BIN price.
"This is the Motor City...And This is what We Do" Nice motto....I love that commercial....I don't usually pay ANY attention to commercials....that one got my attention. I only wish they would have shown more classic cars like the Mav/Comets and Mustangs in it!!! Congrats on your Stallion! I like how they came with the blacked out hood and headlight trim on the front. - Roger
So what are your plans with the car? Are you going to totally strip it down and do a total "nut and bolt" restoration? Are you going back to 100% stock?
That belongs to the guy I bought my yellow Stallion from. If I don't decide to keep my white Stallion I'll have an NOS hood molding for sale.
Don, yes I saw that on Ebay, but it seems to me any old front moulding piece will do though, just need to paint it (mine is there any way) Craig, this baby is going back to BONE STOCK, or as close as I can get it! I cant really afford to do a frame off, but I am going to fix the floors, paint the thing and get the engine in a bit better running order...then...drive the thing...that is after all why we all buy these...to DRIVE them! Ray, if you don't keep the yellow one, maybe I should just drive down there and get it i would hate to see you part it out, and it could just be my project in waiting...lol
Hey Mike, to the forum. Thanks for adding your Stallion to the registry. Guess i have some reading to catch...
