    I'm just kind of curious how many long timers are still around here? It was soo long ago you may not remember the old board :rofl2: But if your join date was around 2002-03-09 you more than likely came from the old Bulletin board.

    Wasn't there one before this one and after the Bulletin Board? I think it wasn't up long before we went to this one.

    The 1998 archives are still from the first board aren't they? Or was there one before that? For some reason I think there was one between that style board and this one. And the archives older than 98 are lost forever according to Stefan.

    If you go to the Maverick/Comet Information Site home page and click on archives you will go back to the board started in March 1998 - the very first post from Stefan on this "previous" board had "welcome to the new board" meaning that there was an even earlier board than what is archived.

    I'm getting old becasue I don't remember something different than the 1998 board. Unless it was very similar bulletin style. I got my car in 1994 and found the board shortly after, just cant remeber what the board was like.

    I see alot of names on the old board I haven't seen here in a long time. Like Charlie Ping, Sam Mangano, Comick... Maybe they use a nickname here they didn't use back in the day.

    i joined in the end of 2002 when i first got my comet. so i just barly missed the old board. i was a senior in high school and didn't have a care in the world. wow how things have changed in 9 years.

    I remeber some point not too long ago I noticed "Bob Hatcher" under Mav1970 and thought hey that sounds familiar from the old board, didn't realize you were the same person until then.
