ive been waiting about 3 or 4 years to not see 14inch tires on the front of my car and ive got to say it was well worth the wait.those 14s i had used to drive me nuts, with the size of the gap in the fender well.i finally broke down and bought my back rims.had the front 15x7s in boxes in the shed for along time.i was waiting for my restore.that finally happened last winter so there was no excuse at this point to not move foward with something ive been unhappy with for a while now.i'm glad craig and a couple other guys brought me to my senses about not putting 15x10s on the back.the 15s in front REALLY took up that big gap i had in my fender wells and make all the difference in the world.the tire is 8inches wide. i went with a taller profile tire in back on a 15x8 rim,its a little over 10 inches wide.same size rim just a taller tire. the taller tire makes a ton of difference.the pic in the grass was with the old tires.tell me what you guys think, good bad or otherwise

Nice combination on the whole look of your car Bob.

Nice color, trim, pinstripe, front and back bumper setup, bucket seats...all looks good together.

It needs about a 1 inch drop in front.:D But then the front tires might be too tall. Looks good with the Cragars. I like the fact you kept the small chrome side trim, too. Just enough to break up the color without being too much.

thanx guys.i agree completely with the front still being maybe 1/2 to a whole coil still to high.when i bought it i had to do front end work and that included a new set of coils.i should have bought them for a six banger and not an 8 and i bet it wouldnt be sittn so high right now.maybe if i spend every waking hour with my fat*ss sittn on the hood theyll weaken up and drop down a bit.thanx again for the positive feedback

Im not to sure abt that; I have 6 banger's and mine sits abt 1'-2" higher than b4 I replaced them. The springs that came off were not old, they had some coil mat removed and I did'nt like the ride quality. Since my car is a road car Im more than willing to sacrifice some looks for ride. Also, I had to be real careful going over speed humps, a factor in the big city area, or I cud hear things scraping. I don't have that now. Am I satisfied -YES.

Bob, I'll be doing my new wheels and tires this week hopefully. I went with Magnum 500 15X7 frt & rr. Tires will be 23560R15's frt and 27560R15's rr. I have my fingers crossed that these will work out and fit. I can't return the tires or the wheels since they were purchased quite a while ago. Pictures are pending. You should list what you have with pictures in the Wheel and Tire Database ...
