My opinion is not enough info about the car and some terrible pics. No way to make an intelligent decision without seeing it in person. Is it close enough for you to go look at it? The pics don't make it look bad but they can make a bad car look good! I would want to know if the cowls leak, check to make sure the floors aren't rusted out and check all around the entire car for rust. If it was painted 6 years ago then the rust would have started popping back out by now. The car needs to be thoroughly checked over so don't make your decision by that simple ad. Good luck to you and let us know how you come out.

Thanks for posting the link. I just made a deal on the car and I'm getting ready to head out and pick it up.

To add to what Ray suggested ... Is the paint color/style to your liking?

Also, is it road ready ... brakes well maintained, no leaks from engine/tranny, electrical systems working, etc. Then there is the condition of the interior.

If all this checks out, that is a good price (IMO). I'm mainly considering (and assuming) the value of a VERY GOOD condition paint job that you don't need to have redone. If you don't like the paint style or color, even if the body work/paint is sound, you will be paying premium for a "nice" paint job that isn't really of value to you.

Another thing you mentioned was "can't find anything really near me unfortunately", which equals low supply, which equals higher prices for your area.

The only thing I can think you meant by that is "Why does it have dual exhaust?"

    Otherwise confused?:hmmm:

Color is very much to my liking actually. As for leaky cowls, rust issues, specific engine size, etc. I have sent an email requesting as many different pics of areas as possible and asked a ton of questions. Hopefully they can respond within a day or two.

Is it within my distance to drive to it? About 170 miles from where I actually live but I won't be home on leave from Afghanistan for about another week.

i will keep you guys updated.

    Ahh I see...

So its either someone who doesn't know the car well....or....decorative dual exhaust with a Y-Pipe somwhere between manifold and rear picture of car which explains nothing....

    Touche sir.

Anyway, if it were a 302 or other V-8 all the better :D

If u do get to look it over in person, check for evidence of previous wrecks, bondo,or even floor rust.Get in the floor and check the cowl best u can for holes. You might even put a little water in the cowl vent,if it goes in the floor, thats bad.

In my opinion....if somebody went to the trouble of putting on a killer paint job...why the ugly hubcaps? I would have to believe it is not a killer paint job, and just a "scuff and shoot"...hence....keep the hubcaps.

Looks like another one that would need to be inspected in person. Price doesn't sound bad but there's a lot you can't tell by those pics.
