As I was leaving school, I saw the front end of a small bumper coming at me going 60, we passed on the highway and I got a pretty good look at it. it was a small bumper, with a a cherry red paint sheme, white graphics, and a white vinyl top. If I hadn't be on my way to work, I would have ran him down. Great looking car though.
Was it a Maverick or a comet? I have seen a comet over here on the other side of the river with that description (South County) at car shows, it was for sale and the owner seen my Maverick at the local shows and has tried to get me to buy his comet. Have not seen him for a while.
To be honest, I'll bet it was a comet, I didn't recognize the front end first but the rear was definately a Mav/Comet.
I believe I have seen it too, while we were on vacation to the Racer's auction a while back. I think it was a Comet, or at least it sure looked like it from where I was standing.
