    was bored sunday and went to local junk yard,, found a 74 maverick 4 dr with 302 ,,then i looked i only had a adjustable and phillips screwdriver but was able to get,,
    throttle cable - whoop
    fan shroud - double whoop in excellent condition,,
    kickdown rod
    thermostat housing

    noticed it had power disk brake setup,, calipers, rotors, the entire thing should i take it out for anyone?

    1972 mercury comet with a maverick front end. It has a 1992 5.0 motor in it.
    I don't need it but im sure someone does. You better jump on that stuff fast.

    In 74 it had power brakes? Meaning a brake booster as well? Thought that was not an option until later

    The power brakes were an "option" on the 75' Mavericks and Comets, and became standard starting in 76'. The 77's of course had power brakes standard as well, in the last year. Easiest to find them on 76 and 77 models.

    I assume you mean "disc brakes became standard in '76.." cause Power brakes were not standard in 76...

    Right, my 76" does NOT have power brakes, but it does have disc.

    yup

    disk brake setup,,well im going on take them off and anything else as you never know who needs them,,plus they only charge 40 dollars for all the stuff this week,,it even has the bench seat with the arm in the middle ?
    all i cared was about the fan shroud ,,my heart was pounding when i saw it was undamaged with a 302 ,,
    the throttle was a bonus as i know ppl need it for conv from 6 to 8 ,,figure someone might need it ,,

    Power disk brakes

    My 76 came with power disk brakes, and power steering, but was otherwise just plain Jane.
