That is a Factory shock tower brace that Craig has. If you want to have factory style POWER front disc brakes on a Maverick/Comet, then it helps to use the Mav/Comet shock tower brace from the 76 and 77 models that came with power brakes. The standard shock tower brace would hit otherwise. I have the same complete setup from a 77 Maverick that I am going to put on my 72 Grabber. Craig could tell you more...he did a tech article on adding factory power disc brakes to an older model Mav.
in such cases, it'll point out that some Grabbers with a "T" engine code that were normally 200ci 6cyl cars were in fact 302/4v/4sp cars on rare occasions
Daniel, I love the look of your black 72 Grabber...beautiful....and your restoration video was very well done, and fun to watch! I'm going with a different color for my upcoming restoration....but all black looks awesome on yours. - Roger
I can belive factory 4 bbl ! after all mine came with port fuelinjection and disstributerless ignition
haha thanks.. btw.. where is my restoration video? it was deleted from youtube. anywhere else on the web lately? heck i'd like to see it again lol
that shock tower peice is for cars that were equipped with power brakes. the power brake option started in '75 and because of it's weird configuration, that particular shock tower brace is needed
