Ok. so we got a new carb. for my maverick's inline 6 cyl. engine. It's got an electrical choke... uhm... SOS!!! What does it hook to? Help?
What year? I know on my 76" that you splice the electric choke lead in on the white/black wire (terminal S) between alternator and the voltage regulator... not sure about your year, if the colors would even line up, or if that would be correct on ALL years. check http://www.1bad6t.com/Maverick/repair/chassis_electrical_05.html for wiring diagrams, to see where it should wire in. Supposed to run a fuseable link between the choke and that connection i believe... i think we just popped a 30 amp in line fuse to mine.
74, as far as THAT wiring is identical to mine, like i said, tap it in the "s" terminal on the alt, run either in-line fuse (best option imo) or a fusable link between it, and your electric choke.
