Where To Buy Headliner?

    Beside ebay & Autocrafters, where do you guys buy your replacement headliner? Are the differences in quality?

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    If you have an old headliner in one piece, any good upholstery shop can use it as a pattern and make you a new one. I'd ask the price first though. I've used several from AK and have been pleased with them.

    I got one from Autokrafters and have been pleased with it, think it was like $79. I checked with a couple of upholstery shops around they wanted between $200 and $400 for the headliner.

    I got mine on ebay, $59 bucks... It is good quality and installed with a couple wrinkles..lol.. Not as easy as I thought it would be.... My local shop wanted $200 just for the install.....

    Definitely a time consuming job to put it in wrinkle free.

    Anyone had a bad experience with a product from a particular vender we should avoid? Hopefully this thread will be easy to search on and help future members needing headliner info.:thumbs2:

    Mine also came from a ebay seller they just sell headliners was nice quality and came with extra material for the visor's

    That seems to be what I've found with what I've looked at. As with the other few aftermarket items for our cars I was expecting to hear that they are mostly made at a particular location then farmed out to a few vendors...

    I made the headliner for the falcon. But my stiching didn't come out straight haha. For sure i'm buying one for the maverick.

    My guess is that all the headliners out there are all made by the same company.
