I've been woundering if anyone has found a rotor that can be used over a front drum brake hub? While using your stock/granada calipers? I like the idea of having the rotor seperate from the bearing hub for ease of replacement and heat disapation/isolation. or can someone direct me to a site that I can search disc rotors by dimensions? thank you.
I think I've seen that but can't remember where, you also have to machine the outer edge of the spindle to fit in the rotor.
I'm using a 95 crown vic rotor on a drum hub, but I'm using a 99 Mustang calipers with brackets I made. I don't know if they'll work with the stock caliper brackets, but they are close. When I was searching, Rock auto had some dimensions for rotors, but not all. Good Luck!
Yes. I modified a pattern for brackets from a tech article that someone wrote on a Falcon site, I think. I posted a link a while back. I'll try and find it.
Yep, that's it I have very limited search and photo functions at work. The "man" is keeping me down...
91-94 toyota previa rotors can be used with 1990 chevy celebrity calipers and 82 eldorado brake hose on our spindles
