Well I finally got power back so I had to get on and let you guys know that trees are scared of Mavericks and Comets. The hurricane did its worst damage in my area. My Comet hasn't moved in about a month, so I couldn't move it before the storm, the palm tree in front of the car fell, the only tree in the whole neighborhood to fall a different direction. If it had fallen like the rest of the trees it would have been on my hood and through the window. I have the whole storm on video, the tree falling over and then just bending to miss the car. No damage at all to the Comet or any of the Mavs. I sat and watched shingles and sofiting hit the cars so I'm pretty suprised. My neighbors bug got smashed by a tree. Our buick lost the taillights. Thankfully our house has no damage, but my dads big garage lost the roof. I just feel so lucky to have a house right now, and all the support that's come in from everyone all over the country.
glad to hear everything made it through pretty much. most of all that nobody in your family got hurt. many others weren't that fortunate.
I am so happy to hear that your Comet (and your house) survived the storm. You are very blessed. It's always sad whenever one of these cars goes to that great crusher in the sky, so it's nice to hear that yours was not a victim...
Glad to hear you made it through the storm in one piece. You and your cars were indeed lucky. Someone up above must have been looking out for you.
Glad to hear that you made it thru the storm Okay. My parents, Aunt & Uncle live in Palmetto, Florida and they made it thru Okay also. Glad to hear all the cars made it thru undamaged also.
glad everyone is ok, this is another reason i like where i am now, we get all 4 seasons, but not too much of the really nasty stuff (hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes) don't get me wrong, it can and has happened here, but not to an extreme
Glad to here everything is ok! You have much to be thankfull for. We have family in Tampa and Eustis and they are ok. We plan to move to the Orlando area after retirement within five years. We had a tree fall durning a sever thunderstorm here four ago and it missed the garage by inches! Only the garage door was damaged by the smaller branches! Our prayers are with everyone in Florida.
Glad to hear everyone is safe Chrissy. Sorry about your Dads roof, but having met your Dad I'm sure he'll have 'er back up in no time. Keep you heads down, down there. Russ
