Found this in the garage the other day. I had it on the car when it was a six. Was a 60hp set-up, which was almost double the power. Car went from low 11's in the 1/8 to 9.90's. Not bad for 20 years ago. I don't know why I keep it, but thought I'd share a pic.

Basically stock 200, cranked in more timing. The 250 was stock too, went some 10.90's in the 1/8. Which do you have? The 250 can use 255 V8 pistons, and there are aftermarket cams. Only reason I went to a 302, in 2005 it was no longer my everyday driver, and I wanted a good bracket/street car that was quick and could drive anywhere.

That thing is neat! I'm working on a six cylinder build right now. These things are fun :)

Mine's a stock 200 but i've been thinking about trying to find a 250 to work on and run the 200 until the 250's built.

Not sure where you are in Texas, but Rick Brooks has alot of my old six stuff, and for sale. 250 is the way to go, lots more torque. fordsix.com has plenty of info.

As long as you run a large port head your golden. There's no point in building a small port. Also if you want high compression in a 200 you can run 2.3 HSC pistons. The tempo 2.3 I4 is basically a six cylinder with two pistons taken out

About 20 years ago, I sent NOS a carb gasket. They set up a 1bbl plate and a Fogger fitting on it. Since I had plenty of kits and bottles, it was simple to rob the solenoids, ect for it. I'm not sure how good the solenoids are (they worked the last time used, no leaks) but I may get rid of this one. Or contact NOS.

You know the early 6s had a heater tube plate that you can easily use to convert it to a spray bar.

Or hack the EGR off, and there is a port to tap....Done that too.
The Fogger fitting just screws in.
