http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Crag...itemZ400194199429QQptZOtherQ5fVehicleQ5fParts i know that i have asked this question before and got mixed answers.i want fat tires and rims on the back of my car,i'm almost positive that the bolt pattern is correct.does anyone have a way of telling me if i'm going to rub on my leafsprings with the back spacing or anything else under there.i have the height with the almighty unapproved of airshocks,so i dont have to worry about the rear body panel.i really want this look and what a good price on the rims eh.thanx for your input
Consensus is that, for an 8" wide rim, 4-4.5" backspace works best for not rubbing with a big tire. For a 10" rim, you'll need another inch of backspace to keep it centered. Also of note, if you don't have enough backspace, a spacer can be used to get the rim away from the leafspring, but if you have too much backspace your hosed on clearing on the outside. It sounds like you are jacking the back and that isn't an issue ... but you may change your mind on ride height, so it's bestto get yourself as close to the leaf spring as you can with sufficient clearance. Maybe guys running 10" rims can chime in with their backspace and tire size combo, but I would say 5" backspace is what you want.
rims i definately have the height.its not a complete wedge but its up there.i hope to cut one rung out of the front coils this year also.be nice to hear from someone running 15x10s
