Are Doug Thorley Shorties Still Around?

I'm going to ditch the 6901's on my car when I re-do the exhaust this year, and I am looking into shorties. I saw the Hedman 88400's, but I recall the DT's being a bit larger 1 5/8's maybe?

I can't seem to find the things anywhere though, are they still available?

man thats a lot of cash for a set of headers!

 

They used to be more! It's not a bad price at all. Considering these were made for a maverick. So it's like getting custom made headers for a bargain price.

 

there is a set of hi-po exhaust maniolds on tucson craigslist for like one third the price of those and there new. i dont know how to bring up a link or i would. he has a lot of stuff to part out as well.

 

Hi Po manifolds wont fit a maverick, but to the right collector they can be worth a lot of money(edit: nevermind you said they're new. So it's probabl just a repro set).

 

A friend of mine has hi-po crossover headers on his mav, the steering hits a bit, but they work.

 

Considering the headaches I've had over the years with Hooker and Headman Headers I was planning on running Doug's on my car. It would be worth it to avoid cracking, poor fit and leaks from the crappy flanges both use.

 

I have them, to me they were worth every penny.
