eventually i'm gonna get my maverick painted and i really don't know what colour to choose. i know this won't be any times soon but i'm kinda bored so i figure i'll ask and see what all you have to say. i saw a few other topics for colour help and there's always someone that says to go look at the picture gallery, but my maverick is a 4-door and there's only a few of those in the gallery and all they have is the stock colours. i have a few in mind. white with some kind of black stripe pattern and plum crazy purple with a white stripe pattern are the main things i had in mind. what do you guys/gals think would look good. and like i said, it'll be at least a year or 2 before i actually get the new paint job so i'm just wanting to hear your suggestions. here's a link to some pics of my car.
http://s913.photobucket.com/albums/ac335/hemicharger94/my maverick/ also keep in mind that if i get a dark colour i'll keep the black rims it has on it(stock maverick rims painted all black), but if i get a lighter colour i'll get a new set of stock maverick rims that still have the crome on them. and thanks if you took the time to read all of that, it's a little longer than i was aiming for

like most people on here will tell you, its your car and at the end of the you'll have to make the decision and live with it.
that being said the only advice i would give is give it a bright color. it might make me and ego maniac but it makes the car get much more attention. im working on my car in a shop right next to a 61 t-bird which is in many people's opinion a more popular car. my car is a bright green his is black and white. the owner of the t-bird always gets painter's remorse now because his car is always put to the wayside.
    just my opinion. good luck!

I've looked around and played with photo editors, before I chose a color for my 4 door. I wanted a factory ford color from the era with a sporty look.

In my opinion four doors are better raised in the back (or lowered in the front) and painted a dark color (dark blue, green, etc),. pair that with small or tucked bumpers and they dont look half bad. :yup:

j miller has a sharp 4 door, with the style cues I've mentioned

just my 2 cents, and the route I've been taking with mine.
