Anyone out there running aftermarket heads with Hooker 6901 headers? If so which heads, AFR, Brodix, World etc...? I am concerned about plug angles and clearance issues  .
I`ve got 6901`s (with the inside of the tube inlets blended "ported" )on a set of Victor jr.s... they bolted right up ,and have NO plug /or wire clearance problems.
max power, go to the hooker header site. look under competition series they will list what they work with. power steering needs a power steering bracket and their site says no to the column shifter.
hooker super comp 6110 will work with auto on column and power steering with drop bracket, but are more expensive.
Saw an add in 5.0 Mustangs and Super Fords that Hooker is now making the 6901's in Stainless. Part Number 6901-2HKR. Did a search on Summit's site and came back with a price of $979.95. Makes $330 sound good for the Ceramic Coated models
