I tell ya that car is a 1/4 miler!!!!!!!!! It dont wanna be shut off!!!!!!! Glad you got home safely, doubly glad none of that bad car karma happened on the road. Thank goodness for car trailers huh? Dan
4 doors first cruise Car trailers RULE!!!!!!!! I just took the kids and my wife for our first little cruise to the local Sonic drive-in. Some bikers were sitting next to us on the patio (no eating in the new Mav....Yet?) and I heard them strike up a conversation about the Mav. I knew I had a winner. Before I knew it the Maverick stories were flying. I haven't had that feeling since my 351C powered Grabber some years ago. As far as my Pro-Street project goes, it is dormant for now due to a recent job change and my other boss let me keep my car stored there. It is a stripped down shell at this point and waiting patiently for any attention. The motor and tranny are in my Lincoln Mark VIII that I am waiting for a title for before I start stripping it clean. I don't worry about getting that one done in any particular time period. I just want it to be MY ultimate Maverick. Even if it takes ten years to do. It's gotta be killer or not at all. All aluminum Turbocharged 32V DOHC V-8 power and BIG FAT TIRES fillin' those tubs with a trick chassis. The dream of what could be keep me goin' some days. I do tease my wife and tell her I bought a Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde car. One side looks nice and normal and the other side is a sight, for now.
Bruce, glad to hear you are enjoying the new Maverick already!! So, is it going to a family daily driver until your son is old enough to drive?
I think I will call it a 3 season daily driver and I am goin to drive the heck out of it for a while.:bananaman
