hey guys i was looking at the car last night and started to think about what radiator hoses i could use! its a 5.0 EFI and im using a champion aluminum radiator that is abot the same dimensions of the stock radiator. i think for the lower hose i can use a stock 302 mav hose but the upper hose is my concern. so i would like to know what hoses everyone is running and what they came off of?

Do you have the goofy thermostat housing that points straight up?

What I do when I have to find an oddball hose is cut & tape old hoses together, to get the shape I need, then go play @ Oreilly's, pulling down hose, after hose. I'll usualy get the one I need, it just takes a while.

I think the one your looking for for the top is a fox body upper. I have not been able to confirm it yet but thats what looks the closest on my car with the same setup you have same thermostate housing as well. alternator on passenger side top, my tensioner is reversed to pull up on the belt not push down. I just running alternator water pump crank and tensioner.

The shape is right, I just have not confirmed size on radiator connection/hose.

I also wanted to run part number on the upper hose I have to confirm its from one of my old foxes or just something that was on the shelf.

Change the tstat housing to the old style. That's what I did, used the stock hoses.
