working on the 71 Grabber

    working some on my 71 grabber found a little more rust on the floors but not to bad...but this dent had me was not sure how well i could get it out...for never doing much body work have not put any bondo to it yet :bananaman :smash:

    had to take out the back glass:( but the seal is still soft and good (y) what a ball...can't wait to get my welder then the real fun starts :smash:

    You know that you are working very near the leaded on area of the
    top joint, right?
    If you get to sanding too much, make sure that you have a good
    mask and cover.

    thanks .the lead seam is up about 6-8 inchs from where i was working

    more work (y) got a good look at the floors :eek: :eek: the frame is good:bananaman going to rebuild the torque box:smash: the Zbart did not help here....but all is good :D

    Don't give up on it. So far it looks like you are gonna make it. The rust monster just needs to be slayed and all you can do is battle it or give up and I don't think when you have gone as far as you have all ready that you will let that happen. Good luck!(y)

    yeah did not look that bad till i pulled the black stuff up that was under the carpet the rest of the floor was stuck to it :eek: its pretty bad but the one on the 72 was bad also not as bad .......ill fix it :D did not think i would be as far on it as i am:smash: got it for a long term project:slap: got a tail light panel a drivers fender just need pas side fender and a welder and a sand blaster
